Samoa is a country located in the Oceania region, close to the International Date Line, and consists of Upolu, Savai'i, and other small islands.

In fact, in collaboration with Thinkcy Co., Ltd. (which manufactures fish leather in Toyama Prefecture) and the UNDP Accelerator Labs of the United Nations Development Program in Samoa, we are currently working with local communities to collect fish waste in Samoa. Although this is all new to us, we are working towards development in collaboration with local UNDP staff! Although the period is limited to only a few months, we hope to create new solutions to numerous problems and expand the possibilities of the fish leather industry through this project!
