The other day, Fishing Show OSAKA 2026 successfully came to a close.

Over the three days, so many people stopped by the Ocean Leather booth.
To everyone who visited us — thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

At the venue, there were those who came saying,
“I came to see Ocean Leather.”

There were people who paused and quietly gazed at the leather.
Others gently traced it with their fingers and asked in surprise,
“This is really made from fish?”

Some happily shared stories about the fish they had caught.

In those moments, there was something you simply cannot experience online.

Even when it’s the same species of fish, each pattern is completely unique.
The moment someone chooses one and says, “This is the one,”
is the greatest joy for us as makers.

“I want to show this to my fishing buddies.”
“Someday, I’d love to turn a fish I caught into something like this.”

Each of these words reminded us once again why we create what we create.

We are also deeply grateful that the connections made at the event have led to support through platforms like Makuake and CAMPFIRE.

Ocean Leather is not simply about consuming fish as a material.
It is about bringing the story of that life back into everyday living.
